We are Calathea Moments - musicians, speakers and married couple. We specialise in weddings and events in southern Germany, on Lake Starnberg, Lake Tegernsee, Lake Chiemsee and in the mountains - as well as destination weddings in Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol and Italy.
We got to know each other through music - and it has been our life together ever since. As a married couple, parents of four children and as a team, we have been on stage for over 25 years. In 2014 we Calathea Moments was founded to accompany people through the most important moments of their lives - with music, with words and with character.
Our focus is on Weddings and events in southern Germany, on Lake Starnberg, Lake Tegernsee, Lake Chiemsee and in the mountains - as well as at destination weddings in Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol and Italy. Whether an alpine wedding with a mountain panorama or a Mediterranean villa: we bring the emotions to where you want to celebrate.
Our journey began in 2014 with something very small - a calathea flower that Martin gave to his wife.
A flower that has become a symbol for us: for growth, for life and for big dreams that you only understand when you start to live them yourself.
Because some moments in life are quiet.
Some are loud with happiness.
And some need both: words that last and music that carries.
We have been accompanying people through moments like these for over 11 years:
through farewells and new beginnings, through memories and celebrations, through tears and laughter.
We were able to comfort, give support, create spaces - and at the same time celebrate, breathe a sigh of relief and touch hearts.
For a long time we were called Calathea Music.
And yes: music is still our heartbeat today.
But we have long been more than just a musical duo.
We combine speech and melody.
We combine depth and lightness.
We combine farewells and beginnings.
